    Excellent podcast covering local issues
This has been one of my favorite new podcasts. It covers important local issues in San Francisco, with a combination of reporting and interviews.

    Great journalism
Heather Knight is the MVP of San Francisco journalism. I love the SF Chronicle’s coverage of housing, homelessness, and assorted political shenanigans, and her name is on EVERY byline! The podcast often provides additional insight into her reporting.

    Good local topic coverage
Nice job covering current local topics, and a good extension of Heather Knight’s column. A welcome addition to the Chronicle’s podcast collection.

    Can't compare to KQED
Some interesting insights, but poor editing, production and writing. It feels like the Chronicle is starting all these podcasts not because they have specific stories for audio in mind, but because it's the current trend for big newspapers. And the gap in audio production expertise really shows. A shame because there are so many interesting local stories to follow that would be really great in an audio format.

    Heather Knight is great.
Via podcast or SFChron subscription, she's the best of Bay Area news.
